The day finally arrived. The day which we will be flying to Indo. In my heart, i dont know whether i was excited or nervous. Being famous for a place where one can have diarrhoea easily, I was very skeptical abt my trip.. However, i still need to go...:( The reasons us goin to Indo is to attend Sugi's youngest sis wedding, which is on 5 sept.. also mom's birthday.. also Antonio 's birthday.. We arrive Jakarta airport abt 3 plus.. coz of the usual traffic jam (machap), we arrived our hotel abt 5 pm. Which means we only left 1 hr to shop at Mangga Dua.. After goin to the room to wee wee, mom, yin, mil and i quickly proceed to Mangga Dua, which is connected to our hotel, Le Grandeur. That one hr was like a supermarket sweep for us.. quickly zooming our eyes on what to buy, and come back tomolo to shop!!! Abt 6, we return to our hotel. and changed for dinner.. near Sugi's place.. Kepala Gading... (not sure the spelling). Her hse is abt 30 mins drive from our hotel, which is consider quite near! And her hse is near a big shopping mall. Knowing that we wanted to shop, Sugi's dad treated us dinner at the mall.. When we arrive at the entrance of the mall, there was a Toy shop, which Declan immediately pulled Daniel in!! His mission was to look for his train, Edward... Walking ard the shop, there wasnt any Edward. How disappointed he look!! But i bought his Harold the helicopter and Bertie the bus.. Dinner was quick as we wanted to shop after tat.. Dad n FIL went to Polo, and bought some shirts.. Dunno why dad now so vain.. 2nd Chun?? After tat, we went back to the hotel to rest..

Morning we had breakfast at the hotel. and after tat, shopping all the time.. till abt 1pm.. Which we stopped for lunch.. at one of the restaurant in the hotel... not bad... a branch of Duck King. and the best part is they had promo for Citibank credit card... 30%.. so i ended up paying for lunch.. we had a cake, to celebrate mom's birthday. After makan, shopping again.. till 5pm.. Now u know why we choose such a run down hotel.. Coz of it's location lah!:) By 5pm, we started to prepare ourself for the wedding dinner.. The dinner was very grand. They had a MC and a very good band, which sang opera songs.. very high class..After dinner, we went back to hotel, to pack our stuffs.. for tomolo check out..

We took the early flight (10am ) to Bali. and arrive abt 12 plus.. Meet up the driver which we will use for our stay in Bali.

Will be flying off to Indo this coming thursday. Frankly speaking, not very sure whether i am looking forward or not.. Knowing that the place is famous for having traffic jams!! I wil be attending a wedding on friday and off to bali on sat morning.. Tat part, i dont mind!! hehehehe.. First time goin to bali, so dont know wat to expect too! and since we wil be there for 2 nites, not very sure whether i got time for spa!! yum yum!! Okie.. wil write more after my trip. coz need to start my packing!! Wish me luck!:)

Well, it has been abt 2 weeks since i wrote my blog. Other day met Yvonne and Aunt Diana for dinner. Yvo commented on my blog.. said that it is so boring!! all write abt travelling. HELLO, my blog is for me to write my travel details so tat when i become old one day, i can remember where i had been..
Or did she prefer i wrote abt my sex life? something like from Desperate Housewife? or Sex in the City? Bet you that it will be more interesting, definitely!!!! Or do she prefer tat i write about my everyday's life? Like wat to cook? Chicken or Pork? Or how much did the pork cost now... etc? Sure that will be the most BORING thing to read lah!
Frankly speaking, alot of pple blogged on FOOD.. one of my fav hobby!! but too bad, me and daniel are not too adventurous to try different restaurants.. SO rite now, in my blog, I will still concentrate on travelling!! And i really admire those pple who are so discipline to update their blog regularly!! ~~SALUTE~~

Just back!
Bangkok trip 18th June to 21st June 2008
Just came back from Bangkok. We spent 3 nites 4 days there. Actually, I felt it was a bit short. But if u were to ask Daniel, he will definitely say ' It is enough!' Hahaha.. This trip we went with Mei's family and mom n dad. Actually think everyone enjoyed this trip. But cant really say much on Jean rong, who was so prepared to do marathon shopping with grandma! She actually shopped for 2 days, but felt sick on the 3rd day. First day we shopped at MBK after checking in at Pathumwan Princess hotel. Second day we went sightseeing, eg. Wat Arun, Palace and shopping at Platinum Mall. The latter place is SO huge.. think got 6 storeys of clothing shops. Wow.. First time there, as we alwys shopped at opposite side where the Indra complex and Patruman market are. After the Platinium, we headed to chinatown for dinner by our private driver which we rent for a day. The driver is quite good, he told us that he can drive us around till 12am!!
After dinner, we went to Suan Lum Market for shopping. The place is quite hot, and i think it is tat time, Jean Rong started feeling not well!! After walking for awhile, she started to vomit. Think she ate too full, or the start of stomach flu. We went back to hotel abt 10pm to rest. Heard from Mei, JR had fever that nite.. Poor girl.. The next day, mom, mei and i went to pratunam market. The place is hot and is made of dark alleys. I bought so much clothes, as we need to purchase in 3 nos in order to get a wholesale price. Think i bought about 40 shirts.. Crazy rite?? But every shirt cost me less than Rm20.. Not crazy rite to buy so much!! hehehe. We went back to hotel to have lunch with the rest of the group. JR vomitted during lunch.. i told her to rest more.. and she nobbed her head.. with eyes watering. Think she wan to cry coz she cant shop! Poor girl. After lunch, daniel, wern and i took the train (BTS) to central dept store. Bought couple of things there. took the train to Siam station and walked to Central World plaza. After tat daniel went back hotel with Wern, whereas i con't shopping at Siam Paragon. That nite dinner, we ate MK at MBK.. Dad enjoyed the meal so much, compared to the chinatown one! Think it is due to the bill, i think! Hehehe.
Our last day we went to chatuchak market abt 9am. Didnt buy much, coz knew that my luggage got not much space left, even after opening the spare one! Went back to hotel about 12pm for lunch. and repack in order to check out. The same driver came to pick us up. even he shook his head when he saw our luggages, which had increased in size and numbers! Flew back and arrive in Kl abt 8 plus Msia time. Said bye to my parents and Mei's family.. My verdict:-a nice and fun trip.. Hope to do it again with them.
